Eric W. Kirchner

Chief Executive Officer

Eric was appointed our Chief Executive Officer in January 2009. He has 28 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, serving previously as President of Freight Forwarding in UPS's Supply Chain Solutions division for their global freight forwarding business. Prior to that, he was President of North American Forwarding and President of Global Transportation Services, and served as co-integration manager and member of the UPS integration steering committee that facilitated the transition of Menlo Worldwide Forwarding. Eric came to UPS in 2004 through their acquisition of Menlo (formerly Emery Worldwide), where he held various executive positions up to Chief Operating Officer. During his career, Eric has directed transportation and commercial air and ocean carrier relationships and has also managed contract logistics operations. His roles in operations, sales and marketing, as well as general management, reflect his extensive experience in managing global customer relationships and overseeing acquisition integration and business process transformation. Eric holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and has completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University.

Lawrence R. Samuels

Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer

Lawrence has been our Chief Financial Officer since May 2000. He was part of the executive management team that prepared our company for its initial public offering on NASDAQ in November 2000. In addition to his duties as our Chief Financial Officer, Lawrence oversees all investor relations activities, and is a member of UTi Worldwide's Executive Board. Previously, he was Financial Director of our subsidiary, Pyramid Freight (Proprietary) Ltd. Before that, Lawrence served as the Financial Manager of Sun Couriers, an express courier operation in South Africa and another subsidiary of UTi. He also was the Financial Manager for Adfreight (Pty) Ltd., which later merged into Sun Couriers. Lawrence received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and is a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa.

Ed Feitzinger

Executive Vice President – Global Contract Logistics and Distribution

Ed is Executive Vice President - Global Contract Logistics and Distribution. He has also held leadership roles as both a customer and provider of global supply chain solutions. Prior to joining UTi, Ed served as Vice President of Worldwide Logistics for Hewlett-Packard, where he managed more than $1 billion in transportation and logistics spend. Before Hewlett-Packard, he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Menlo Worldwide, where he also led the technology and engineering division. Ed began his career in operations engineering with AT&T Network Systems and the Intel products group. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Gene Ochi

Executive Vice President – Client Growth

Gene is a founding member of our shareholder management team and has served in various roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Marketing Officer. He was our Global Leader of Client Solutions Development leading the company's focus on developing solutions for our global and strategic clients. He has been instrumental in the development and branding of the company's long-term vision of becoming a leading provider of true, globally integrated logistics services. And he's served as Regional Vice President, Western USA, of Union-Transport Corporation, one of our subsidiaries. Before joining UTi, Gene was Senior Vice President of Marketing at BAX Global. He also served in various executive capacities for Flying Tigers, a cargo airline, and as the Vice President of Marketing for WTC Air Freight. Gene received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Ron Berger

Senior Vice President – Global Operating Processes

Ron is in a newly created position to oversee the company's business transformation, including the 4asONE initiative. Ron brings nearly 30 years of freight forwarding, global supply chain and IT industries experience, most recently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at FedEx Trade Networks, Inc. Ron also led enterprise-wide transformation efforts at Emery/Menlo Worldwide and UPS Supply Chain Solutions, building critical knowledge and specific understanding about business processes and what is required to execute business transformation in our industry. Ron started his career at CF AirFreight, which later merged with Emery Worldwide. Ron holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Southern Florida.

Lance E. D'Amico

Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

Lance D'Amico joined UTi Worldwide in August 2006 in the newly created position of Senior Vice President and Global General Counsel. Since that time, he has taken over responsibility for a number of our corporate support functions, including Legal, Risk Management, Procurement and Corporate Development. He also has assumed the role of Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer under our Insider Trading Policy. Prior to joining UTi, Lance was Executive Vice President, Strategy and Operations, with Element K Corporation, an educational software and publishing company. He was also an associate with the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Lance holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and a law degree from the New York University School of Law.

Ronald S. Glickman

Senior Vice President – Chief Information Officer

Ron joined UTi in February 2007 in the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Global Quality Processes and Integration. Since that time he has added the global information technology function to his areas of responsibility. Previously, Ron was responsible for the retail and hospitality vertical at Cognizant Technology Solutions. He has also served as Chief Information Officer at DFS Group, a global luxury retailer for travelers, where he designed and delivered a global sourcing strategy that yielded annual expense savings of 48 percent while tripling the productivity per dollar invested in technology-enabled business outcomes. Ron is the Board Chair for Camp Kesem, a non-profit, college-student-run summer camp program for children whose parents have been diagnosed with cancer. Ron holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from National University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

InaMarie Johnson

Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

InaMarie Johnson joined UTi Worldwide in October 2011 as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. InaMarie has more than two decades of global human resources leadership, having spent 10 years at Honeywell International, where she managed human resources employees worldwide. Her wide-ranging responsibilities included strategic and financial planning, program management, organization development and effectiveness, and global workforce management. She established change management and knowledge sharing practices for the human resources function across organizational boundaries, serving as the champion of the transformation process and translating desired end-goals into specific initiatives. While at Honeywell, InaMarie provided human resources leadership for the transportation systems and specialty materials division, including organizational design, talent management, compensation, employee and labor relations, staffing, learning and diversity. Prior to Honeywell, she served for six years in human resources leadership positions with The Clorox Company. More recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Corinthian Colleges, Inc., a leading post-secondary education company. InaMarie holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Organizational Management from John F. Kennedy University.

Christopher Dale

President – Americas Freight Forwarding

Chris began his career with UTi in 2004 and was promoted to the position of President, Americas Freight Forwarding, in May 2006. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer for UTi's U.S. operations, and before that, he served in a dual capacity as Vice President, Marketing and Sales, for the Americas Region and Western Regional Vice President. Before joining UTi, Chris was with DB Schenker, Inc., a global logistics provider, as Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales, and later as Chief Operating Officer for their U.S. organization. He served as Vice President, Marketing and Sales – North America at Danzas Corporation, now a part of DHL. And he has held various branch management, regional management and corporate product development positions within Circle, Inc. Chris also worked with Panalpina from 1980 to 1988 in various sales and operational capacities in the United States and Europe.

Brian R.J. Dangerfield

President – Asia Pacific

Brian was UTi Worldwide's President of Solutions Delivery for Asia Pacific. He has also served as our Executive Vice President – Northeast Asia and Indian Subcontinent. Before joining UTi, Brian was Executive Vice President – Northeast Asia and Managing Director – Hong Kong and China for Union-Transport Asia Pacific Ltd., one of UTi's subsidiaries. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and is an Associate Chartered Accountant in New Zealand.

Jochen Freese

President – EMENA

Jochen Freese was appointed President – EMENA for UTi Worldwide in October 2011. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, EMENA where he was responsible for the Central and Southeastern Europe and Nordics sub-regions. Prior to this, Jochen was Senior Vice President – Market Verticals and Global Marketing where he had extensive responsibility for the development of all market verticals and marketing at an enterprise level. Jochen joined UTi Worldwide in July 2006 as Executive Vice President, Automotive, building and developing the company's automotive industry vertical teams. Before coming to UTi, Jochen served as Representative of the German Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, a leading German organization in applied research and innovation, in Africa and in Europe where he was involved in the management and execution of applied research and consulting projects in production concepts, logistics and strategic management, mainly in the automotive and aerospace industry. He also served as the Managing Director of the Supplier Park Development Company Pty. in Pretoria, South Africa. Jochen has held positions with the Automotive Industry Development Centre and is a member of the German Association of Engineers (VDI). He began his career in the area of productions and logistics research at the University of Braunschweig in Germany and holds an engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing.) from there.

Gavin Rimmer

President – Africa

Gavin joined UTi in 2004 and almost immediately performed a number of project roles, including Managing Director of Sun Couriers, a division of UTi. More recently, in March 2007, he was promoted to President, Africa for UTi Worldwide. Before coming aboard, Gavin qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983. After completing his National Service at the Receiver of Revenue in 1987, he held a number of leadership positions in the leisure and entertainment industry with a national video game business, with one of the largest casinos in South Africa, and with a Southern African chain of hotels.
